Mario Morales is an avid music lover. While in elementary school Mario took part in several choreographed dance numbers in the category of baile folclorico in Guadalajara, Mexico. While in his teen years, he also rehearsed and performed in over a dozen quinceaneras. Here he learned his first partnership dances and was often named the Chambelan de Honor, which is the lead partner. Now he continues to share his musical love through singing Karaoke whenever he can!
At age 15 Mario joined his local church choir, where he learned to play musical instruments, which in turn lead him to start a latin music band with friends and family in the late 90s. He is a musician skilled in playing the guitar, bass, and drums.
Dancing permits Mario to use his body as an instrument on the dance floor. Social dancing has been a big part of Mario’s life, enjoying dancing with all sorts of people and bringing joy to all he dances with. Mario started his Arthur Murray journey as a guest, and then as a student, and then as a professional instructor. Taking up ballroom dancing has been one of the best life changing decisions thus far, as he found his true calling by furthering his dance journey and choosing to become an Arthur Murray dance instructor.
“To bring students happiness through the art of dancing, while having interaction with great people who have a common goal makes it fun to be an instructor. “
